Dustin and McKenna really had an Oregon fairytale wedding in the forest. We had the honor of documenting this special camp wedding in the Bend, Oregon area over the summer and every element and detail felt magical. Especially the love Dustin and McKenna share for each other.
They selected a forest location right outside Sahalie Falls, filled with enchanting light, vivid green trees, and added so many personal details that really brought this fairytale to life. Dustin's mother made them a themed wedding cake, McKenna designed and created her own jewelry, belt and headpiece, and McKenna's Maid of Honor played and sang the song for their first dance.
This Oregon Camp was such a treat to document and witness. We hope you enjoy the photos!

Brandon and Taylor are easy-going, carefree, lovers of nature who wanted their Hood River Engagement session to reflect their laid back spirit. Brandon, from Hood River, Oregon knew they’d want photos in Hood River and while they were visiting their wedding venue fell in love with the view of Mt. Hood and opted to have their engagement photos taken there.
I love nothing more than connecting with others and documenting their joy and love. This session was particular special and I could feel how much the pair love one another.
A beautiful Spring Hood River engagement photography session, views of Mt. Hood, sunset, and two awesome humans…enjoy the photos from this Columbia River Gorge engagement session! Read More
Cannon Beach is a special place. I’ll never forget the first time I kicked off my sandals and walked along the beach taking in the beautiful Oregon coast only to find myself mesmerized by watching the sun slowly disappear behind Haystack rock amongst a glory of blush pinks and Easter egg blues.
And even after countless visits to the Oregon coast, the beauty of Cannon Beach still amazes and inspires me. As a wedding and engagement photographer based in Portland, Oregon, Cannon beach is at the top of my list of favorite places to photograph couples and families.
Mitch and Caitlin share my affinity for the Cannon Beach, and it is a meaningful place for them. Mitch is in love with Caitlin, knew he wanted to marry her, and wanted the proposal to be intimate, romantic and documented so that he and Caitlin would always have photos to look back upon and relive the magical moment. I absolutely love intimate weddings and elopements. There is a sweetness inherent to the day and a flexibility that the couple has, and in my beautiful state of Oregon, there are no shortage of beautiful places to escape and get married!
Shelby and Nash were committed to one another and knew that they wanted to get married amongst the beautiful landscape that is the Hoyt Arboretum. If you hike into Hoyt Arboretum a bit, a wonderful spot to elope is the Redwood deck that is private and nestled amongst redwoods and sequoias. The location is serene and as you settle your gaze on the sun-dappled trees there is a sense of magic that envelops you.
The intimate ceremony was amongst close family and the couple’s mutual best friend officiated. The day was a joyous occasion and the Hoyt Arboretum elopement made beautiful sense for this lovely couple.
I hope your enjoy the photos!
We wanted to mix it up a bit and share some lovely captures from a recent trip to Cannon Beach, Oregon! While our first love is documenting weddings, elopements & engagements, our passion for photography also comes from a love for storytelling in landscape work. And it's so important to take time to make your own art!
The Oregon Coast is so beautiful all year, but there's something so magical about the end of winter light. Enjoy! Read More

When Lily & Tim began planning their special day, they knew they wanted a small, intimate Portland Elopement. They picked a spot in Washington Park, where they could have their ceremony on a beautiful stairway covered in leaves, ferns, and moss with a backdrop of northwest greenery. They asked their mothers and two best friends to witness their Portland Elopement, and of course their sweet dog Leo. The couple exchanged vows they each had written, sharing memories of how they met and their time together. After the ceremony, Lily and Tim joined their family and friends for a brunch in downtown Portland.
It was such a treat to photograph this lovely Washington Park Elopement! Congrats to the happy couple! Read More
Surrounded by close friends and family on a beautiful day in the PNW, Suvi and Jeanot celebrated their love in a quiet and simple way incorporating things that they love. Adam and Martiza, two graduate students completing their degrees in Arizona and Sonora. México respectively, met through school and fell for each other. They enjoyed a long-distance relationship before becoming engaged and opted to celebrate amongst close friends and family in Adam's home state of Oregon. We first connected with the couple via Google Hangout and even with the faulty connection both Martiza's natural exuberance and Adam's adoration for his partner came through. We hope you enjoy this wedding that took place at one of our favorite Willamette Valley Vineyards-Zenith Vineyard-as much as we did. Congratulations and cheers to Martiza and Adam! Read More
This rainbow wedding is one of the most unique celebrations we have photographed over past year! Chris and Chalaina designed the wedding of their dreams and it was completely authentic and genuine to them as a couple. They embraced the freedom to have the exact day that they wanted, and shared it with their closest family and friends. The rainbow themed wedding was complete with rainbow decor, air plant centerpieces, rainbow cake, and even bubbles!
The couple walked down the aisle together, acknowledging their commitment as equal partners. One of their close friends officiated the ceremony, as Chris & Chalaina exchanged their vows under a romantic gazebo at Portland's Victorian Belle, a gorgeous historic mansion built in 1885. The house is an historic landmark and features beautiful gardens, string lights, intricate stained glass windows, various antiques, and rare treasures. It's a stunning Portland wedding venue!
We were honored to document such a special and authentic occasion! We were also thrilled to have it featured on Rock n Roll Bride!
We hope you enjoy this wedding just as much as we did - congrats to Chris & Chalaina Read More
As Portland, Oregon wedding photographers, it's always an honor when we are asked to travel and document someone's special day. We love to visit different places, and we always have so much fun together on trips and adventures. When Hannah & Jake reached out to us and shared their vision of an intimate, outdoor wedding at a rustic 1910 farmhouse in Eagle, Idaho, just a short drive outside of Boise, we knew their late summer wedding would be the nothing short of magical. And we were right!

We first met Cherie and Patrick when we photographed their woodland engagement on New Year's Day, and we were honored when this charming couple asked us to capture their summer wedding. As we spent time getting to know them, we were struck by their chemistry and connection, the kind that comes from a relationship which began as friends over seven years ago. Cherie told us she is so lucky to marry her best friend, and we couldn't agree more.
Cherie and Patrick planned a small wedding at a quaint Bed and Breakfast in Oregon. Patrick's work requires a lot of travel, so their time together is precious. Having both photos and video highlights of the entire wedding day was important to them as they started their life as a newly married couple. Summer weather for a Pacific Northwest wedding can be a bit unpredictable, but the afternoon rain showers just added to the fun of their special day. Thank you so much to Cherie and Patrick for letting us document your wedding - cheers to you both and your adventures together! Read More
