Brandon and Taylor are easy-going, carefree, lovers of nature who wanted their Hood River Engagement session to reflect their laid back spirit. Brandon, from Hood River, Oregon knew they’d want photos in Hood River and while they were visiting their wedding venue fell in love with the view of Mt. Hood and opted to have their engagement photos taken there.
I love nothing more than connecting with others and documenting their joy and love. This session was particular special and I could feel how much the pair love one another.
A beautiful Spring Hood River engagement photography session, views of Mt. Hood, sunset, and two awesome humans…enjoy the photos from this Columbia River Gorge engagement session! Read More
Cannon Beach is a special place. I’ll never forget the first time I kicked off my sandals and walked along the beach taking in the beautiful Oregon coast only to find myself mesmerized by watching the sun slowly disappear behind Haystack rock amongst a glory of blush pinks and Easter egg blues.
And even after countless visits to the Oregon coast, the beauty of Cannon Beach still amazes and inspires me. As a wedding and engagement photographer based in Portland, Oregon, Cannon beach is at the top of my list of favorite places to photograph couples and families.
Mitch and Caitlin share my affinity for the Cannon Beach, and it is a meaningful place for them. Mitch is in love with Caitlin, knew he wanted to marry her, and wanted the proposal to be intimate, romantic and documented so that he and Caitlin would always have photos to look back upon and relive the magical moment. There are many beautiful milestones in our lives, and it's so special to have photographs as a keepsake to relive those memories over and over again - it's so true that a picture really is worth a thousand words! When Dane reached out about photographing his Columbia River Gorge Secret Proposal to his girlfriend Roxane (now his fiancee!), I was so thrilled to be part of such a unique and intimate moment at Bridal Veil Falls. Since my time is typically spent as a Wedding, Elopement & Engagement Photographer, it's really fun to mix in different types of photography sessions, like a Columbia River Gorge Secret Proposal! I had a wonderful day hiking into the Gorge, meeting Dane and Roxane, and capturing such an special milestone in their lives. Read More
This rainbow wedding is one of the most unique celebrations we have photographed over past year! Chris and Chalaina designed the wedding of their dreams and it was completely authentic and genuine to them as a couple. They embraced the freedom to have the exact day that they wanted, and shared it with their closest family and friends. The rainbow themed wedding was complete with rainbow decor, air plant centerpieces, rainbow cake, and even bubbles!
The couple walked down the aisle together, acknowledging their commitment as equal partners. One of their close friends officiated the ceremony, as Chris & Chalaina exchanged their vows under a romantic gazebo at Portland's Victorian Belle, a gorgeous historic mansion built in 1885. The house is an historic landmark and features beautiful gardens, string lights, intricate stained glass windows, various antiques, and rare treasures. It's a stunning Portland wedding venue!
We were honored to document such a special and authentic occasion! We were also thrilled to have it featured on Rock n Roll Bride!
We hope you enjoy this wedding just as much as we did - congrats to Chris & Chalaina Read More
As Portland, Oregon wedding photographers, Angelina and I often reflect that connecting with others and documenting something so special is immensely rewarding. We love not only the photography aspect, but the opportunity it gives us to meet and get to know so many different people.
All of the weddings we are part of are special to us, but we have especially fond memories of Charlotte and Brad's wedding. It was one the first weddings we documented together and it was the most intimate of ceremonies — a Bridal Veil Falls Elopement! We all hiked together to the beautiful Bridal Veil Waterfall in the Columbia River Gorge, documented the special elopement, served as witnesses, and then had an awesome time taking photos after. It was such a wonderful day and we loved getting to know Charlotte and Brad, and their sweet rescue dog Riley, who they brought along to be part of their wedding day. Read More
When Abbey and Kenny reached out to us about their vision for a small beach wedding with their closest family and friends, we were thrilled to be part of their day and get to know them as a couple. They both have a love for adventure and the outdoors, and wanted their wedding to be a reflection of what made their relationship so special. They picked a beautiful spot in Astoria, Oregon and the day turned out perfectly - warm summer sunshine, salty ocean breeze, loving friends and family in attendance, and so many picturesque places to document their love. Enjoy this beautiful Oregon coast wedding! Read More
Greg knew wanted to marry Julia and he also knew he wanted the moment he asked her to be his wife to be documented as it would be a moment he would want to share with others and look back upon. He connected with us several months ago to see if we would be available to capture this special moment in Cannon Beach, Oregon. Not only did the proposal sound romantic, but we also adore the Oregon coast and so there was no hesitation—yes we were available! Read More
We first met Cherie and Patrick when we photographed their woodland engagement on New Year's Day, and we were honored when this charming couple asked us to capture their summer wedding. As we spent time getting to know them, we were struck by their chemistry and connection, the kind that comes from a relationship which began as friends over seven years ago. Cherie told us she is so lucky to marry her best friend, and we couldn't agree more.
Cherie and Patrick planned a small wedding at a quaint Bed and Breakfast in Oregon. Patrick's work requires a lot of travel, so their time together is precious. Having both photos and video highlights of the entire wedding day was important to them as they started their life as a newly married couple. Summer weather for a Pacific Northwest wedding can be a bit unpredictable, but the afternoon rain showers just added to the fun of their special day. Thank you so much to Cherie and Patrick for letting us document your wedding - cheers to you both and your adventures together! Read More
